If you want to listen to some up and coming singer-songwriters in an intimate location while enjoying some great bar food and drinks, head to SoBro (South of Broadway) to the Listening Room Café. Founded in 2006 by Chris Blair, it aimed to ‘combine his passion for live music with his love of a great meal’. The Luxury Travel Bible would agree he has achieved this. As a ‘listening room’ all the singers perform songs that they have written themselves; it’s a wonderful experience to hear your favourite song performed by the person who actually wrote it and to hear the story behind their inspiration.
